Middle Crisis

"Michael Carrick has been ruled out for
up to six weeks after fracturing his elbow
during the Champions League game
against AS Roma on Tuesday."

Not a welcoming news for every Red Devil's. It couldn't come at a much worse time, since Hargreaves and Fletcher is already out. We do have other options to partner Scholesy, Giggs and Anderson or even Wayne and Tevez to certain extent. But neither of them is a tackler. Fortunately O'Shea is fit again, and he can certainly do a job in the middle of the park. Some might not agree with me, but i don't see anyone else that is suitable to play the 'anchor' role. For me, he is always a reliable player, when call upon and will give 100% for the team. Hopefully, if he plays, he can get the job done and help the team to win.
Red Devils to roar!!

Also on the sidelines

Edwin van der Sar (toe)
Darren Fletcher (leg)
Owen Hargreaves (knee)
Ji-sung Park (knee)
Ben Foster (knee)
Mikael Silvestre (knee)

Anderson proved to be a superb acquisition by Man Utd and will really challenge Hargreaves, Carrick, and Scholes himself for the midfield berths. Fletch will find chances hard to come by when all are fit. He's now the 5th choice!
